Sign language is utilized by the deaf and hearing impaired. It is made up of predefined hand motions, facial expressions and body gestures that are used to express meaning and communicate.

 

As per the Israel Broadcasting Law (Closed Captioning and Sign Language), Israeli broadcasters are required to add sign language translation to a predetermined number of broadcasts.
